Nigerian Leadership & Risk Summit / what to expect & solutions

The 2020 Nigerian Leadership Risk Summit will be exploring solutions to national leadership and followership crisis through a cross-generational conversation tagged Leadership vs Followership Risk; Uniting a Divided People.

There is a popular proverb in Nigerian, “Ife kingdom is established through the combined wisdom of both the young and old” i.e. no one is a minority in wisdom. This summit will provide the perfect vehicle for both young and old professionals across different industries in the public and private sector to proffer lasting solutions to the challenges facing leadership, ethnic violence, sociocultural division, religious crisis and also to address critical issues threatening national security, business sustainability, economic crisis and national development.

The Summit will offer risk-based approaches to addressing key challenges facing the nation and to present awards to individuals and organizations making efforts towards effective management of risks in their organizations and the country at large.

Aims & Objectives / 2020 Nigerian Leadership & Risk Summit will

  • Address issues on leadership (private and public sectors), insecurity and nation-building
  • A panel of experts on practical strategies to manage followership vs leadership crisis across sectors.
  • A cross-section of upwardly mobile young people to interrogate leaders on the state of the nation
  • Thought leadership on fixing Nigerian businesses and politics
  • Recognize and reward individuals and organizations who have made measurable impact within their sector or industry through the effective application of good governance and risk management
