He equally had a brief stint in Mortgage Banking.

Carol has served the Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc. (RIMS), a not-for-profit association dedicated to advancing the practice of risk management, as a member of its board of directors, as vice president of Professional Development and as vice president of Governance and Secretary.

She’s held a number of other positions with the organization, including chair of the membership, governance, enterprise risk management development and standards and practices committees.

Carol has served as a board member on the non-profit Spencer Educational Foundation. She was selected as a Risk Manager in Residence by the University of Hartford.

She contributed to the development of the RIMS Risk Maturity Model, and is a regular presenter at risk management conferences and forums.

Carol received RIMS’ 2009 Goodell Award, in 2011, Treasury & Risk named her as one of the 100 Most Influential People in Finance. Carol is the chair of the U.S. ISO 31000 risk management standards Technical Advisory Group, a participant on the COSO ERM Advisory Council, and serves on Miami University’s Center of Business Excellence Advisory Board.
